Tell us your budget, apartment size, preferred neighborhoods and move date. We search the Bronx, Yonkers and the rest of New York City for apartments that fit, contact you with options, and schedule showings at times that work for you.
AFTER YOU CHOOSE
Applying for the apartment you picked
Once you have seen or chosen an apartment and our office asks you to apply, we help you complete the application and gather your documents. The only application-stage cost is the credit check fee allowed by New York law, up to $20.
THE LAST STEPS
Lease signing and keys
We coordinate the lease signing, any required apartment inspection and the key handoff, and we stay in touch until you are settled in.

Using a rental assistance program
We work with renters using all lawful sources of income, including New York City and New York State rental assistance programs. Program rules, payment standards and paperwork are set by the agencies that run them, so always check the official source.
YOUR RIGHTS
Who pays the broker fee
Under the NYC FARE Act, when a broker represents the landlord, the landlord pays the broker fee, not you. If you choose to hire Mena Realty to search on your behalf, we explain our services and fee in a written agreement, together with the New York State agency disclosure form, before we start. You don’t owe a fee unless we place you in a lease.
